Walking Tour of Lucca


  1. Start at Porta San Pietro: If you arrive by train from Pisa or Florence, begin your tour at Porta San Pietro. This gate is an excellent starting point for exploring Lucca’s historic center.

  2. Duomo di San Martino: Head up to the top of the walls from Porta San Pietro and walk until you reach the Duomo di San Martino. Descend to take beautiful pictures of the cathedral's stunning facade.
